Why Bridgewater Academy Charter School?
Bridgewater Academy is a public charter school. We are a tuition free public school that has the flexibility to be more innovative while being held accountable for advancing student achievement. We offer creative learning environments that allow students to learn, collaborate, explore and showcase their talents. We are constantly looking for and implementing experiences that improve the educational experiences of our students. We strive to make relevant changes that empower our students with 21st century problem solving tools and skills.
Bridgewater Academy students are required to take the same state standardized tests as other South Carolina public school students.
As part of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, Bridgewater Academy receives federal financial assistance (Title I Program). This helps to ensure that our students meet challenging state academic standards.
