Student Home Learning Device Survey

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, mark your calendars for our Open House that takes place on Friday, August 15th, and the First Day of School is Monday, August 18th.

Students attending Bridgewater for the 2025-2026 school year will receive FREE breakfasts and lunches as part of the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program. Additionally, students are not required to have a clear backpack.

Bridgewater Uniform

Tops
- PLAIN navy blue polo shirt (school emblem optional)
- PLAIN navy blue pullover/sweatshirt (school emblem optional)
- Sweatshirts must be either solid navy blue (without writing/logos on them) or BWA sweatshirts
Bottoms
- All bottoms should be khaki shorts, pants, skorts, and jumpers

Bridgewater PE Uniform

Tops
- PLAIN grey t-shirt (school emblem optional)
Bottoms
- All bottoms should be PLAIN dark/navy blue shorts or sweatpants

Plain/solid colored tops and bottoms may be purchased at many local retail stores.

At Open House, we will have limited BWA school emblem uniform tops available for purchase.

A Message From Our Principal

BWA PARENTS:

We are looking for at least 4 parents to join the Title 1 Planning Committee for the 2025-26 school year! The commitment requires attendance to three meetings (September, January & May) and providing feedback to the school leadership team on ideas for continuing to improve and support the BWA students, staff and Title 1 programming.

If you are interested, please email Caronda Butler at butler@bridgewateacademy.org, and we will then select representatives based upon grade- level representation and need.

Bridgewater Academy students are required to take the same state standardized tests as other South Carolina public school students.

As part of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, Bridgewater Academy receives federal financial assistance (Title I Program). This helps to ensure that our students meet challenging state academic standards.
